How do you celebrate a one year old? It's a funny question because they have no idea what is going on and they won't remember anything. But it's important to have pictures of the occasion and of course I love the idea of making them feel special. So Saturday we took Molly out to lunch and gave her a few gifts. She was tickled!
Lunch with my happy girl!
Perched on her new little snail (she doesn't like to stratal it which is very lady like of her), with her new book and purse in the back ground. She was also quite please with the balloon we got for her and clipped to her pants for the afternoon. It was pretty cute!!
Sunday we invited my family over to celebrate Molly with us. Tim made delicious frosting for the cupcakes and her smash cake. I love how helpful he is in the kitchen and how good he is at it.
Molly got a sweet little toy from my sister that she loves and she has one from my brother that is still in the mail.
Molly with her cousins.
Going at her cake. She knew exactly what to do.
And she was so happy about it!!
Pure sugar filled joy!!
And a chocolatey bath afterwards.
Molly had such a fun filled day with family and sugar and the weather was shockingly enjoyable for May. We finished our day with a beautiful walk and she tuckered right out in the stroller. Such a sweet girl!!
