General Conference

We decided to spend General Conference up at the cabin. So, the day after getting back from Sedona, we loaded up the kids and headed back up North. The weather was beautiful. Cold in the morning and evenings and cool during the day. It was a wonderful weekend hearing uplifting and inspiring messages and being with family.

We drove up Friday evening and met my mom and Logan who were already there. Whitney and her family came up Saturday evening and then we left on Sunday evening in time for the kids to fall asleep in the car and have a nice quiet drive home.

On Saturday in between conference sessions we took the boys exploring up the creek.

Oliver loves rock hopping and is getting very independent and very good at it.

I thought this tree looked like an excellent climbing tree and suggested to Oliver that he have a go at it. I was surprised to see him do it!! He was pretty thrilled with how high up he made it.

We made it to the top of this huge rock which made my hands super sweaty. Tim snapped a picture real quick before I promptly helped them down.

My sweet little Peter boy.

Molly was napping so we left her back at the cabin. It was fun to go adventuring with these sweet boys.

Peter found a stick that he was pretty excited about.

Peter sneakily took my phone and decided to take some pictures of the boys wrestling upstairs.

They're pretty entertaining.

And they're all blurry.

And I'm wondering if Oliver is hurt in this one???

Peter just may be a budding photographer.

Walking across a fallen log in between the Sunday sessions.

Boy Selfie!! So much love for these three. SO MUCH!!

Uncle Chris made jet packs, which were a hit among the kids.

Peter was pretty excited about his.

Pretty legit!

Molly's hair was a fly away mess all weekend. It was cracking me up!!

She's a fun little thing to have up at the cabin, but also a major stressor because she thinks she is so big and a lot of things at the cabin are not very forgiving when it comes to injury. She safely made it through the weekend.

So glad we could escape to cooler weather for a wonderful weekend. And I am so excited to go back and listen to the wonderful talks.
