The day after school got out we headed up to the cabin for Memorial Day. We had such a great time!! We were there for five days, the weather was perfect and the kids self entertained. It was probably one of my favorite trips to the cabin.
My uncle Kyle drove up with us. Molly kept saying "hi" to him when he first got in the van.
The boys went right to work looking for bugs as soon as we got there.

Molly was a little sick when we left Thursday, but got worse and worse. Tim took her home Friday morning and she spent the day sleeping and resting.

Tim said Molly spent most of the day sleeping. Sweet girl.
When she woke up she felt good enough to get a milkshake.
Saturday morning she felt good enough to join us back at the cabin which she was so excited about it. She knew she was missing out and was happy to be in the middle of all the action again.
This group jumped rocks from the crossing to the cabin, which is not easy to do and requires getting wet. They all made it with smiles on their faces.

It was such a great long weekend and such a great way to kick off the summer. I love Memorial Day. I love spending it at the cabin. It's such a great place to really appreciate all of the freedoms of this beautiful country we live in and remember all of the people who made those freedoms possible.
