Oliver turned 7 during our Riding reunion. We did gifts when we got home and the had a Birthday party a couple weeks later. It was fun celebrating this handsome kid!
Oliver is pretty hard/easy to shop for. He's easy to please and doesn't want much but he also doesn't get over the moon excited about gifts. This year he got a couple of books, a little robot, a science card game and a giant box of Junior Mints. He was pretty happy with his presents.
For Oliver's Birthday party we were supposed to do a swim party at my parents house, but their pool was too hot. Turns out their heater was somehow turned on so the already July hot pool was now way too hot to swim in. So, we moved the party to our house last minute and did a Legos party.
We put some of Olivers Lego sets on display for decoration.
The kids had a great time building together.
We gave them a couple of building challenges which was fun.
Oliver had a mix of cousins, church friends and school friends. It was a fun party. We did snow cones instead of cake and everyone went home with a small box of legos which I think they liked. Oliver was a great host and loved being celebrated.
