Memorial Day

The day after school got out we hopped in the car and headed up to the cabin for Memorial Day. We were they for five days and it was the best way to kick off summer. We were there with cousins and the kids had the best time. The boys are getting old enough to be more independent and explore around the cabin. They spent all day building forts and playing by the creek. We planned some fun crafts while we were there and one day we headed up to Flagstaff to see Aladdin which we all loved. One nights the adults stayed up and play Mafia and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. We played lots of Domino's Mexican train and ate lots of delicious food. It was a great long weekend!
First day down at the creek.

My mom was emptying out a dresser and the kids flocked around her like seagulls around food at the beach. They were just standing their anxiously awaiting the opportunity to pounce on something that might be on its way to the trash.

Saying goodbye to their fort and the cabin.
