We had an AWESOME day! It was so relaxing and no pressure. Tim got me some beautiful roses and wrote me the sweetest letter. He also got me a donut and my most favorite juice ever (Dole Pineapple, Orange, Banana. It's delicious! If you haven't already tried it, you should!). We took Oliver to preschool and then went to Matt's Big Breakfast downtown with Peter. The restaurant was really cool, very hip vibe. But the food was just ok. A little too greasy for my liking. It was still fun to try a new place and get out in the morning together. After we picked Oliver up from preschool we took the boys to my sisters house. She was a saint and watched them for the rest of the day!! It was so fun to have an entire afternoon and evening with just me and Tim! We started our time together by hiking up to the top of Squaw Peak. It was such a nice day and it felt so good to exercise together. Then we got cleaned up and headed out for the rest of the day. We started at Nordstrom Rack where we bought Tim some much needed shoes. The poor guy has not made shoe buying a priority and it shows. We fixed that ;) Then we headed to the mall and walked around. I found a fabulous ring at Madewell with a super fabulous price (only $9 - score!!) and a really fun pair of ankle rain boots at J. Crew for a smoking deal as well. It was a fun little shopping trip. We walked around Crate and Barrel and I dreamed about owning all of the furniture there. We ended the evening with dinner at True Food Kitchen and a milkshake at Zinburger. Then we went and picked up our boys. It really was such a fun day. And even though Tim doesn't love to shop, I think he enjoyed the mostly empty mall and delicious wetzel pretzel bites that I introduced him to.
Happy Anniversary to the man I love most!! Tim really has made all of my dreams come true and he just keeps on doing it. He is my best!
Totally unrelated to our anniversary. We had dinner at my parents house on Sunday night. It was delicious and chaotic as per usual. But the madness really began when my dad busted out a sheet and the the grandkids piled on for a ride around the family room. It was AWESOME! They were giddy and laughing hysterically the entire time. Even Peter was trying to join in on the fun.

Someone on that sheet doesn't look like a grandkid! ;-)
