Yesterday we celebrated Peter's Third Birthday with his buddies. It was pretty cute!! We threw him a little PJ Masks (it's a Disney TV show) Birthday party! Peter loved it. It's so funny, because it got me thinking about the Birthday party I threw for Oliver when he was three (the pirate themed pool party that was a joint party with Rhett) and I swear I went to way more trouble with that one and I think the kids were equally happy about it. Oliver also seemed so much older to me when he turned three than Peter does. Funny how kids can seem so different, or maybe it's that your older kid always seems older and your younger kids seem younger because there is always an older kid?!?!
Anyway, we started out the party watching a 15 minute episode of PJ Masks just in case any of the kids had no idea what was going on.
The kids were really sucked into the show.
While they were watching the show, Luna Girl (a villain from the show) came and stole Peter's presents. So the kids had to become PJ Masks to find the missing presents. She left moth clues around the house. The kids finally found the gifts in the kitchen.
Peter had so much fun opening his gifts. He has such thoughtful friends!!
Then the kids ate lunch. And then play a bunch.
We decorated cupcakes.
And Peter blew out the candles.
And then he zonked out in the afternoon. It was a good little party.
In other news Peter started Preschool last Monday. He loved it. He's been twice and so far we are off to a good start. Tim snapped this sweet picture of him being so good during circle time.
All smiles after the first day!!
Yay for Peter!
