Last Saturday morning we got up, packed up the van, and headed to San Diego for our week long beach trip. The excitement level and anticipation was pretty high. After a loooooong ;) 6 hour drive with a pit stop in Yuma at Chick-Fil-A we made it to beautiful San Diego!! Whitney, Logan and I went to the grocery store and Costco while Tim and my mom took the kids down to the beach, Cody and my dad went to go pick up a car in Irvine (they had done a century bike ride) and Claire was still driving with her kids. We ended the day with Costco pizza and a beautiful sunset on the beach!!

The sky put on quite a show for us the first night. Whenever sunbeams burst through the clouds like this I always think of heaven and angels.
So many different beautiful colors and the ocean partners up with the sky so beautifully.

Girl cousins!!! Elle gets the awesome cousin award! She played with Molly so much and was such a good little second mom to her.
It's so fun to stand back and watch the kids pair off and play and talk.
So excited to have an entire week to get sandy and driven insane by our children with this man. He's my very best friend!
