18 Months = Nursery (and a whole lot of other things)

Oliver turned 18 months on Monday. 18 months definitely comes with it's fair share of opinions and abilities but it also means that Oliver gets to join the nursery class at church. Oliver is a pretty friendly kid and so we had high hopes that he'd love his new "class". Well he loves it alright, as long as one of his parents is in view at all times. Tim took him on Sunday and he said that Oliver just jumped right in playing with toys and other kids. Tim was sure to lean up against the wall and keep his distance and then after a while he snuck out. After about 10 minutes Oliver realized what happened and wasn't having it. So Tim got to spend the rest of church in nursery with Oliver. We are hoping that he will get used to the idea of being without a parent for a couple of hours. The nice part about Tim spending his time in nursery are the pictures. It's so cute to see what Oliver was up to.

Play time. Oliver is a sucker for anything with wheels.

Singing time. Tim said Oliver was pretty happy with his little maraca.

Snack time. Drinking out of a "big boy" cup.

We love veggie straws

Crafting

He doesn't spend much time around beautiful castles so he has to really soak it up when the opportunities arise :)

Playing with the parachute.

How could you not LOVE nursery. It's way more fun than sitting on my lap in Sunday School. I'm hoping he'll figure that out in the next couple of weeks. Especially since Tim is on OB and won't be able to go to church with us, so it's just me and the boy.
