Baseball Date

Tim came up with the most brilliant date/family night idea; baseball night. This is kind of funny for us because we are not huge sports fans, but we like a good sports game every once in a while. After realizing that we probably weren't going to see a live game, he decided to bring the ball park home. He picked out a delicious spred of baseball foods, found an old school baseball video game for us to play on the computer (the one from the Princess Bride) and picked out one of my favorite "baseball movies" Fever Pitch (Rookie of the Year and Sandlot are right up there). He wanted to get sparklers, but we decided to hold off for the Fourth of July. It was such a fun night, and I was pretty proud of Tim for coming up with such a creative idea.

Thats right, there are Cracker Jacks in there. And because the prizes are so lame these days we each picked out a prize for the other person from the dollar bin at Target. We had delicious S'mores for dessert.
